  • Conduct periodic trips throughout the cabin to ensure passenger comfort, and to distribute reading material, cans, pillows, playing cards, and blankets.
  • Prepare passengers and aircraft for landing, following processes.
  • Heat and serve foods that are prepared.
  • Operate audio and video systems.
  • Announce flight delays and descent preparations.
  • Take inventory of headsets, alcoholic beverages, and money collected.
  • Walk aisles of airplanes to verify that passengers have complied with federal regulations before take-offs and landings.
  • Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency, like directing passengers to evacuate a plane following an emergency landing.
  • Inspect and clean cabins, checking for any problems and making certain that cabins are in order.
  • Prepare reports revealing places of departure and destination, passenger ticket numbers, meal and beverage stocks, the conditions of cabin equipment, and any issues encountered by passengers.

  • Continuously monitor all security conditions and Emergency equipment of the aircraft while on the ground and in flight;
  • Provides Leadership, leadership, and assistance during An emergency, including aircraft evacuation, administering first aid to Ill or incapacitated customers, and unusual events;
  • Operates mechanical equipment and safety equipment to include: stairs, oxygen systems, aircraft doors (pushing and pulling), evacuation slides/rafts, fire extinguishers, galley equipment, communications equipment, and lighting systems;
  • Other duties may be delegated from time to time.

Flight attendant Job requirement

  • Has to be at least 21 years old.
  • Must agree to take and successfully pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen, and must be ready to submit to arbitrary drug/alcohol testing
  • Must agree to some 10-year background history, which the business will affirm

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Endurance:

  • Must have ability to push/pull/lift items weighing up to 40 pounds and have the ability to push, pull, or move a drink cart (approximately 250 lbs.)
  • Should possess the physical strength to reach and operate all emergency equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in aircraft aisles and galleys, standing, reaching, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, working in a cramped or awkward positions, squatting, and sitting for prolonged periods;
  • Height and weight proportionate to maintain a professional look. Must be able to walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle, match quickly through any exit, and fit into the jump seat and harness without any modifications
  • Should have ability to listen to and respond to client and crew communications in scenarios with high background noise.

Communication Skills:

  • Will have to communicate clearly and efficiently in English both written and verbally. Must read and comprehend verbal and written instructions and procedures

  • Ability to do public speaking and addressing a large group of people

Mathematical Ability:

Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations regarding revenue transactions, supplying correct change and bookkeeping for managing cash sales proceeds.
